Terrifying Hailstorm on a Russian Beach

It’s all fun and games at the beach until large balls of ice fall from the sky.

That’s exactly what happens in this video, which shows cheerful, smiling Russians suddenly freak out and run for cover as debris starts flying and alarmingly forceful hail begins to pelt them (that shot of ice hitting the water looks down right apocalyptic).

The original uploader says the hail brought with it a sudden 35-degree temperature drop (Fahrenheit), which would probably have been greatly appreciated in the supposedly 100+ degree temperatures had it not been for, you know, painful meteorological phenomena.

Washington: American ice storm strikes again. The Northeastern part of American states, from Alabama to Virginia State on the ice for about 20 states. Mainly on thursday there is heavy snowfall especially in Washington. All schools, colleges and government offices were closed. By 11 inches of snow fell in many parts of America. Due to the failure of grid, power supply stopped and 8 lakhs homes are in the darkness. More than 5,000 flights were canceled across the country, more than half of the services were stopped at Atlanta’s Hartsfield International airport.

In Northeastern region of New England there is snowfall about 18-inch. Road accidents took place in the state of North Carolina due to snowfall and disrupted traffic. Governor Pat McCrory of north Carolina instructed the people not to come out of their houses to decrease the impact of Ice Storm. As the ice storm also effected New York and New Jersey people are advised by the weather forecast to postpone their travel plans.According to official reports there are 11 deaths so far. The violent winds blowing in the already devastated Britain.

Mid-Day Meal is going to outrage across the country. In many states is now emerging , the quality of mid-day meal. around 100 children who eat lunch in the Government School in Naiveli, Tamilnadu were ill. They have moved to a hospital to provide treatment.

Similarly, in Amritsar, Punjab mid day meal is was exposed with worms and insects which is to be eaten by children.

Government of Uttar Pradesh, alarmed by the Bihar phenomena immediately ordered the officials of all the districts to check the quality of mid-day meal

Suicide bomber targets

IraqA suicide bombing ripped through a Shiite funeral tent in Iraq on Saturday, the second such attack in days, killing five mourners and six others died in violence elsewhere, police and medics said.
The bomber detonated an explosives-rigged vehicle near a funeral tent in the village of Zahra, north of Baghdad, where family members of a deceased Shiite man were receiving condolences.
Five people were killed and 10 wounded, two days after a copycat attack in nearby Muqdadiyah killed 10 mourners.
Sunni militants including those linked to Al-Qaeda frequently target members of the Shiite majority, whom they regard as apostates.
Iraq has been hit by a surge in violence that has killed more than 2,500 people have been killed this year, including over 310 this month alone.
Analysts point to widespread discontent among Iraq’s minority Sunni community, and the Shiite authorities’ failure to address their grievances, as the main factors driving the increase in violence.
Also on Saturday, a roadside bomb in a Shiite area of Muqdadiyah killed two people and wounded five, while another exploded when people gathered at the scene, wounding four more.
In Baquba, north of the capital, gunmen killed a shop owner, while others shot dead an army officer in the northern city of Mosul.
And gunmen killed a soldier and wounded another in Kirkuk, also in northern Iraq.
Gunmen also crossed into western Iraq from Syria on Saturday and clashed with border police, leaving one dead and five wounded.
Iraq has sought to publicly avoid taking sides in the civil war between Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s regime and rebels seeking his ouster, but the conflict has spilled over the border on several occasions.

Indian shot dead in Malaysia

An ethnic Indian man has been gunned down and two others seriously injured by motorbike-borne assailants in Malaysia’s Penang state.

The deceased was identified as M Ravindran, 19, who was hit three times near the left ribs late last night.

Two other victims, aged 51 and 18, who were not identified, were hospitalised.

The three victims were outside a temple waiting for rains to stop in Butterworth town.

The suspects rode up to them before one of them whipped out a pistol and shot them.

Police said the gunmen had fired at least six shots as police have recovered six bullet shells at the scene.
