An ethnic Indian man has been gunned down and two others seriously injured by motorbike-borne assailants in Malaysia’s Penang state.
The deceased was identified as M Ravindran, 19, who was hit three times near the left ribs late last night.
Two other victims, aged 51 and 18, who were not identified, were hospitalised.
The three victims were outside a temple waiting for rains to stop in Butterworth town.
The suspects rode up to them before one of them whipped out a pistol and shot them.
Police said the gunmen had fired at least six shots as police have recovered six bullet shells at the scene.
