Kamal Haasan‘s Uttama Villian which was seen facing many issues to release has finally cleared all issues and hit the screens today. Pooja Kumar, Andrea, Urvasi and Jayaram played main leads. Let’s find how it can entertain audiences.
Manoranjan (Kamal Haasan) is a great movie star and earned many fans. But, he is bit different and leads controversial life. One fine day, he comes to know that he is affected with brain tumors and no way to escape and face the death. Therefore, he decided to work for final film that should be directed by Balachander. This movie is titled as Uttama Villian.
What happens? Can he finish the film successfully? Does he face any issues? You have to watch on the silver screen.
We know that Kamal is the best actor and he can mesmerize audiences with his gifted acting skills. Even his role in Uttama Villian is superb. He could convince all sections of audiences. Emotional scenes are heart touching. Pooja Kumar and Andrea are good in their parts and supported well. Viswanath’s role is not so interesting but Balachander is ultimate in his role. One can see real relationship they had, will be seen in this film.
Story is different and characters that are designed in this movie are outstanding. One of the major disadvantages of the film is that it is too lengthy to watch on the screen. I do not think so that audiences can sit three long hours in theatres. Screenplay for the film is neat but audiences will miss the right flow of the script with sub plots that come in story.
There is no doubt that Uttama Villian is superb in technical aspects. Be it music, cinematography, dialogues, locations and sets that floated in the film are pleasing to eyes. Direction is okay and production values are rich.
It might not appeal to all sections of audiences but A centre people would enjoy the movie thoroughly.
